 This demo animation was created in LightWave 3D using a new Motion 
Plug-In from Meme-X called Lock & Key.
Lock & Key will let you simulate parenting on-the-fly, allow you to 
simulate parenting any item (Object, Bone, Light and Camera) to any 
other item, lock character's feet to the ground, and much more...
  ROBOTWOK is an example of Lock & Key being used to keep a 
character's feet from sliding and/or sinking.  No forward motion 
was applied to the robot.  All forward motion is a result of the 
interaction between Lock & Key and the robot's stride.
  
  Look for our other demo, PICKUP, to see an example of parenting 
on-the-fly.  
  
  Lock & Key will be available in the first half of October, 1995
